THIS WEEK: LOTUS LIVE ON RADIO

On Tuesday July 22 Lotus will be the featured artist on CJSF 90.1FM from 8-10pm.  Check out the perfomance page for details. 

CD RELEASE: Lotus is planning the long-awaited release of their second album, Under The Sun September 23, 2008 at the Libra Room on Commercial Drive.  The album was recorded at Brian Adams' Warehouse Studio with Mike Cashin as chief engineer, along with the help of many others.  A great and memorable experience for the band.

The Music Video: Lotus also shot a music video for their song Under the Sun. It was directed by J.P. Finn (he’s the guy who produced X-Files). What a fantastic guy; he pulled in favors and gave us the most amazing filming experience. The crew were great, and the band had so much fun making that video out on the Virtue Ranch. You will be able to view the video soon on our gallery page.

The Gigs: The band is sticking close to home for the summer and is looking forward to the next few months playing around town.  Check out the performance page for upcoming gigs.

The Latest Project: We have been in the studio mixing five of our newer songs...the start of album #3...we may send out a sneak-peak soon!

The Open Mic: Open Mics are dear to our hearts, as this is how we all met. Lotus continues to host an Open Mic every 2nd Wednesday night of the month at the Cottage Bistro, on Main St. (@ 28th Ave). Come down to meet us and share your own talent!!!
